Cryogenic Inert Gas/Vacuum Transfer Holder

Protects environmentally sensitive samples during transfer and imaging

Cryogenic inert gas/vacuum transfer for sensitive samples

The Cryogenic Inert Gas/Vacuum Transfer TEM Holder is designed to protect environmentally sensitive samples during transfer and imaging. It is optimized for sample loading and unloading inside a glove box in the presence of an inert gas.

This capability is particularly useful for battery research involving new materials for optimizing energy storage. The holder can also be used to observe beam-sensitive materials within the TEM. Maintaining the samples at cryogenic temperatures during imaging helps minimize beam damage.

  • Optimized for glove box loading and unloading under inert gas
  • Helps protect environmentally sensitive and air-sensitive samples
  • Supports battery research involving new materials for optimizing energy storage
  • Can be used to observe beam-sensitive materials within the TEM
  • Cryogenic temperatures during imaging help minimize beam damage
Optional Add-On: Variable-Temperature Module

The Cryo Transfer Holder can be configured with an optional variable-temperature module for experiments that require controlled cryogenic temperature ramps. The add-on uses a temperature sensor and integrated heater near the specimen to support precise measurement and regulation during imaging. Ability to heat and image the specimen between -175 °C to -100 °C.
